Studio News :: Just a quick note to let all my wonderful clients know that the studio will be closed from July 6th to July 24 inclusive.   Your emails and phone calls are very important to me, and they will be returned after July 24th.  If you are an expectant mom and looking to book your maternity and newborn session, please note that I try to get in touch with you ASAP to make sure that we have a spot reserved within those first few days of baby’s life.

I am looking forward to spending some much needed quality time with my children and husband making summer memories to cherish forever.

I am thankful that Mother Nature blessed us with one beautiful sunny morning in between what seems like endless rainy days….Thank You for the sun’s warmth on our skin.

I am thankful for this time spent with my friend and her family -  not only because of the beautiful baby boy she is carrying, but because over a year ago they were in a terrible accident and I was frightened for their lives…Thank You for being alive and for bringing new life into the world.

I am thankful that in less than a month, I will get to photograph that brand new life….Thank You for magical moments.

Curled up all cosy and comfy in bed, I turned on the music and climbed in beside you. As I lay there watching you drift off to sleep, I had the most agonizing pain in my heart, and I began to cry.  You didn’t notice, thank goodness, because if you had asked me what was wrong, I am afraid I would not have been able to answer – I had the biggest lump in my throat. You see, lately, I feel so disconnected to both of you….you are both growing up so incredibly fast, right before my eyes and I miss you terribly. 

I want to step back and reconnect again. I want make it all about you, your fun, your energy, and all about the love I have for both of you.  I promise to stop and listen to you and give you the undivided attention you deserve. I promise to have more patience and understanding. I want to go to the bridge and play Pooh Sticks and maybe kick a ball in the park. I want to look into your eyes when you are talking to me and not do 4 things at the same time.  I love you both with all my heart for eternity.

You are the loves of my life. While you sleep I can sit and watch you for hours. I love hearing the sound of your sweet breathing, and I love watching the amazing peaceful look on your precious faces. You are always on the go and I cherish this amazing time when I can actually sit and soak you all in. Your momma loves you so…

It was a crisp beautiful magical morning. There was an amazing glow from all the glorious colours. It was thanksgiving weekend and I was thankful for this beauty all around me.

Families are wonderful. I am inspired by their energy, life, and story.  It is because of this that my images speak to me.  I am thankful for such beautiful souls.  They welcome me with such warmth. I am thankful to all my wonderful clients for their wonderful spirits and warm hearts.
